Supervision

Clinical supervision is provided for graduates of counseling programs who are pursuing licensure as associate professional counselors or licensed professional counselors in the state of Georgia.  Supervision is a structured, collaborative, and interactive process designed to support the ongoing professional development and ethical practice of new counselors. The supervision process involves mentoring and guidance that provides oversight, feedback, and support as new counselors work with clients and further develop their professional identity. Through regular meetings, case consultations, and reflective discussions, supervisees will enhance their clinical skills, navigate ethical dilemmas, and ensure the provision of high-quality, culturally competent care.

Supervision sessions can occur in-person or online. Supervision is offered in three formats: individual, dyadic, or group. Group supervision allows up to 6 participants per group, and participants who enroll in group supervision are required to attend at least two individual meetings per year.
