Yes, we have a sliding scale and reduced fee options available. If you need reduced fee services and our therapists do not have current availability, we will offer referrals to other clinicians who may also be a good fit for you based on the information you share during a discovery phone call.

We do not accept insurance; however, we do accept many health savings accounts and some payment assistance vouchers. We can also provide you with a superbill (detailed medical receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement, if you have those benefits available with your insurance.
To find out if you have out-of-network mental health benefits, we encourage you to reach out directly to your insurer to ask about coverage and the process to submit for reimbursement.

Individual therapy sessions are generally 45-60 minutes long depending on your agreement with your therapist. While a significant amount of progress can be accomplished in a few sessions, the number of therapy sessions you will need depends on the goals you and your therapist agree to work toward.
Additionally, some clients choose to engage in long-term therapy. You and your therapist will discuss your goals during your initial therapy appointment, and you will also continue to evaluate and reassess your goals periodically during your work. You and your therapist will collaborate to determine what best meets your needs regarding frequency or sessions and how long you can expect to be in therapy working toward your goals.

Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 – which will go into effect on January 1, 2022), health care providers need to give clients or patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
-
We request that you cancel an appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time. Any therapy no shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at the full session fee.
-
The group cancellation policy will vary depending on the group agreements. Please refer to your group therapy informed consent and fee agreement documents for information on your specific group’s cancellation policy.

Sometimes clients need emergency and crisis support beyond the support our team is able to provide at any given time. Because we are a private practice we are set up to accommodate individuals who are reasonably safe and resourceful. We are not available at all times and cannot provide 24-hour emergency coverage and access for our clients.
If you are having an emergency and need additional support beyond your personal support system, use the following 24/7 crisis support lines or go to the emergency room or psychiatric hospital of your choosing. You can also call 911.
Before calling or utilizing any of these services, please note that these services may alert local police if you endorse a plan, means, or intent to hurt yourself or someone else. If an urgent mental health issue or emergency arises, the main priority is for you to receive the urgent care you need and for you to make every effort possible to keep yourself and others alive and safe. If a life-threatening mental health emergency occurs, I recommend that you call one or more of the following:
